This is a great creel with a very handy metal top. The center of the lid has a rotating compartment that opens and closes. When open it creates a center hole to drop fish through. The lid also has a second opening to store tackle. This early creel is pre WW2. It’s split wicker basket is solid and it has a George Lawence leather strap. It was part of the famous Daryl Whitehead collection.
