This is a great fly wallet from the 1930s sold by the Army & Navy Co-Operative Society in the UK. The wallet is a rich brown leather with a buckled leather strap. There are 12 sleeves inside and two pockets, one of the pockets is loose on the side. Inside that pocket are two cut-out newspaper silhouettes of fish caught. One of the cut-outs has the newspaper date of 1939, and the details of the fish caught,
“Army & Navy Stores was a department store group in the United Kingdom, which originated as a co-operative society for military officers in the nineteenth century.”
