Description
This is a great coot swimmer carved from palm frond! The grain of the frond creates a fluffed feather look at the bird’s breast. The decoy is lightweight, painted black with a wonderfully carved white beak. The coot was purchased directly from Pappy in 1976. Pappy was a well known East Bay sportsman, carving decoys most of his life at his home in Berkeley, California.
Signed: Harold Kidwell, signature K in square stamped into base.
